Passion for bicycles
Cycling is in their blood
Martin Aberasturi made it to the top of the podium for the first time aged 15, at the 1935 Alava Junior Cycling Championship. Just a few short years later, in 1939, he opened his first bicycle and repairs shop where he spent half his life. The other half he devoted to his family, to whom he passed on his passion for cycling. First to his wife Raquel Goikoetxea and then to his children who eventually took over the business. Having competed in five world championships, his daughter Raquel is also clearly passionate about the sport. Not only do we sell bicycles, we actually like them, she says proudly.
