Fatou arrived in Bilbao in 2011 to study international trade. But as life takes its own course, she ended up starting a fashion business there. House of Fatou (Ker Fatou) is where the Basque Country meets Senegal, where fabrics and accessories in traditional African colours and prints are adapted and tweaked to meet the local taste in fashion. There is no other place like it in the city. It’s a lively, modern space that surprises newcomers with its rich culture and infectious joy.
